OMSNIC Risk Management
The OMSNIC Risk Management online course offers a 5% premium credit for three years. The course is entitled: RMC 413 – Risk Management for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
To access the course:
1. Go to the following website:
2. Click the Risk Management link on the left of the page.
3. Your user ID is your OMSNIC policy number. The password is the last 4 digits of your social.
4. If you changed your password and cannot remember, click on the Forgot UserID/Password? It sends an email to the default email address on file.
5. Click the link to access the E-Learning Center at the center of the page.
6. Once you are in the E-Learning center under Course Library, on the left, click the 5% Premium Credit Course. Then follow the links at the bottom of the page. Each link at the bottom of the page contains a module that must be completed in sequential order.
The course takes approximately four hours to complete. It is divided into seven segments, with questions at the end of each segment. Upon completion of the seven segments, you will be direct to a short course evaluation. Please complete the course evaluation to receive your Verification of Participation, noting the 3 CE credit earned.
The passing grade of 80% or higher is required for each of the segments. A 5% credit will be applied to your policy for three policy years. If completed within the first 60 days of your OMSNIC policy effective date, the credit begins that policy period. The credit will also be reflected on your next billing statement. You will also earn three CE credits and you may print a certificate from your profile for your own records.
If you do not pass, you may retake the course a second time. If you fail to pass a second time, you will be required to attend a live seminar.
